    Depart from Moshi or Arusha in the morning and head toward the lush foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Materuni village where you’ll be welcomed by a local guide from the Chagga tribe.

    Begin a short hike through banana and coffee farms toward Materuni Waterfall a stunning 80-meter cascade surrounded by rainforest. Along the way, your guide will share stories of local traditions, farming practices, and village life.

    After visiting the falls, return to the village for a hands-on coffee-making experience. You’ll learn how to roast, grind, and brew Arabica coffee — all while singing traditional songs. A delicious local lunch is served to complete the experience before returning to Moshi or Arusha.
