Schedule

  • Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for elephants and massive baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a full afternoon game drive. Later, drive to your budget lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara.

    Overnight: Budget lodge or camp in Mto wa Mbu or Karatu

  • Day 2Lake Manyara National Park

    After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara National Park, home to flamingos, baboons, giraffes, hippos, and the rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy your lunch inside the park and continue your safari until mid-afternoon.

    Return to your lodge or camp and relax for the evening.

  • Day 3Ngorongoro Crater Rim (Scenic Day)

    Drive to the highlands of Ngorongoro and enjoy incredible views from the crater rim. On the way, stop at local markets or viewpoint lookouts. Optional: Maasai cultural experience or crater rim nature walk (add-on).

    Prepare for the crater descent tomorrow.

    Overnight: Budget lodge in Karatu


  • Day 4Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

    After breakfast, descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive. Spot lions, zebras, rhinos, hippos, and more. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha by evening.
