Schedule

  • Day 1Arusha to Ngorongoro

    Depart early in the morning from Arusha or Moshi and drive through the beautiful highlands toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you arrive at the crater rim, enjoy sweeping views over the floor below before descending into the heart of this wildlife paradise.

    Spend several hours exploring the crater floor on a guided game drive. With luck, you’ll spot elephants, lions, hyenas, buffalo, and even the rare black rhino. The central soda lake and open grasslands attract a wide variety of animals year-round.

    Stop at a scenic picnic site near a hippo pool for lunch surrounded by nature. After a final round of wildlife viewing, begin the journey back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
