Schedule

  • Day 1Tarangire Day

    Depart from your hotel in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive southwest toward the park. Upon entering Tarangire, begin your safari adventure through rolling grasslands, wooded hills, and the seasonal Tarangire River.

    During the game drive, expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, impalas, and an abundance of bird species. Tarangire is known for its biodiversity, especially during the dry season when animals gather around the river.

    Take a break midday for a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated spots, often with a view of the river or the iconic baobab trees. After lunch, continue with a relaxed afternoon drive before heading back to Arusha.

Any kid old enough to enjoy and appreciate the experience will have a wonderful time on a safari. On the majority of safaris, there are quite long drives on unpaved roads, which are not really suitable for infants and very young children.
