Day 1Tarangire National Park
Depart from your hotel in Arusha in the morning and head south to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant populations and striking baobab trees. Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse habitats, including riverine forests, open plains, and rocky outcrops, spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, drive to your comfortable lodge near Karatu, where you’ll relax and enjoy dinner under the stars.

Day 2Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a day of unforgettable game viewing. Descend into the crater a UNESCO World Heritage Site and discover a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, surrounded by spectacular scenery. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
