Schedule

  • Day 1Lake Manyara Trip

Depart from Arusha in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive toward the Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival at the park, begin your game drive through lush forests where baboons swing through trees and blue monkeys dart across the tracks.

As the landscape opens up, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and (if lucky) the elusive tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches. The lake itself attracts flamingos, pelicans, storks, and other birdlife in dazzling numbers.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a shaded area inside the park, followed by a visit to the hot springs in the southern sector (if accessible). After more wildlife viewing, return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
