Day 1Maasai Village Experience
Travel through the dry savannah of West Kilimanjaro until you reach a Maasai village located in the plains beneath Mount Meru. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed with traditional songs and dances.
Take a guided tour of the “boma” (homestead), learn about Maasai social structures, and hear stories of their ancestral traditions. Watch women create colorful beadwork, and meet warriors who will share insights into herding, fire-making, and traditional medicine.
After a cultural lunch prepared in the village, take a short nature walk with your hosts to learn how the Maasai live in harmony with nature. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
