Day 1Tarangire National Park
Begin your safari adventure with a morning departure from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famed for its giant baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and large elephant herds. You’ll enjoy a game drive through open landscapes that host lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and a variety of birds.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, followed by more game viewing before continuing to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
-
Day 2Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, drive to the nearby Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater the world’s largest intact caldera and enjoy a full day of game viewing in a unique ecosystem that supports more than 25,000 animals.
Keep your camera ready for lions, elephants, hippos, and possibly even the rare black rhino. Stop at a hippo pool for a scenic picnic lunch, then continue your exploration until early afternoon.
In the evening, return to your lodge for rest, dinner, and overnight.
-
Day 3Lake Manyara National Park
On your final day, head to Lake Manyara National Park. Though compact in size, this park offers incredible biodiversity — from tropical forest with baboons and blue monkeys to grassy plains and the lake itself, home to flamingos and hippos. Look out for tree-climbing lions and large troops of baboons.
After a morning game drive and lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha in the afternoon, arriving by early evening.
